LEAGUE RULES NEW IN 2010 – WE WILL NOT MAKE UP RAINOUTS OR MISSED WEEKS
League is Divided into 2 divisions Divided according to handicaps in equal fashion. Division #1 Handicaps, 1,4,5,8,9,12,13,16 – others in #2. Each match is a Win, Loss, or Tie. Ties are scored as a half a win. (A 10-5 record is equal to a 9-4-2 record.)
The same 20 point scoring system is still utilized in the standing for tie breakers. Next followed by head to head match, and then matched cards starting from hole #1.
Playoffs -
Ties in first two round goes to higher seed. Players who miss round #1 or #2 must forfeit match.
Ties will continue at hole #1 for sudden death.
COURSE CLOSED RULES – Rainouts = missed week, we do not makegood a rainout. Rainouts are based on the course being closed. Course closes in middle of matches •6 holes equals an official w/l match •If all matches do not finish at least 6 holes – no matches for that week will count. •If all matches get to an official w/l match (6 holes) but do not finish 9 holes, just wins and losses will be used for that week (no points) for all matches.
